Enrollment for Longshore’s Caribbean Sailing Weeks this year is at an all-time high. Word has gotten around. When the days become short, dark and cold, the place to be is the Bitter End Yacht Club. And the people to show you how it’s done are the renowned Longshore Away Team. They are the Caribbean specialists who make sure you get what you came for.

The Away Team will commence annual operations at the Bitter End on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands on New Year’s weekend and continue hosting guests through January 24, 2010. They’ve already got their gear packed up – including the highly coveted award T-shirts, presented at dinner at the clubhouse each evening to a lucky guest who has ‘distinguished’ him/herself that day. You’ll just have to come down to find out more.

Sailing, snorkeling, paddling, hiking, exploring and limin’ (chilling out) are all on the menu by day. Dining under the star-lit Caribbean sky and dancing to live reggae music by night, make for memorable vacations. Aside from unlimited watersports the Away Team plans something special every day such as excursions to nearby islands, hiking and touring, snorkeling adventures, and …oh yeah…sailing.

It’s not too late to sign up, but you better hurry. Dates and details can be found at http://www.longshoresailingschool.com/caribbeanVacations, however you have to call our office at 203-226-4646 for rates. They are too low to publish!

There are no roads to the Bitter End. Everybody comes and goes by ferry. Come on down. The Away Team will meet you at the dock and show you around.
