Saugatuck Rowing Club is located at 521 Riverside Ave in Westport.

Directions from I-95 South:

Take Exit 17.  Make a left at the end of the ramp.  Go to the next light and make a sharp right.  The boathouse is on the left approximately 200 yards from the light.

Directions from I-95 North:

Take Exit 17.  At the end of the ramp continue going straight for approximately ¼ mile to the T-junction.  Turn left and proceed through 2 lights.  The boathouse is located 50 yards down on the right.

Directions from Merritt Parkway South: 

Take Exit 41.  Take a right at the end of the ramp onto Rte. 33.  Proceed on Rte. 33 to the fourth light.  Turn left at the fork onto Riverside Avenue.  The boathouse is approximately 200 yards down to the left.

Directions from Merritt Parkway North:

Take Exit 41.  Take a left at the end of the ramp onto Rte. 33 and continue with directions from Merritt Parkway South.

Staples High School is located at 70 North Ave in Westport and is close to both I-95 and the Merritt Parkway.  After turning into the Staples entrance, bare left at the fork and park in the student parking lot.  Please enter at the Sports Complex South entrance, where you will see a Longshore Sailing School employee to check you in and guide you to the classroom.

2. Lunch and any snacks or beverages you may want.  We have a working lunch with a navigation exercise so you will not have time to leave the class.

Directions from I-95 North: Take Exit 16.  Turn RIGHT off the exit ramp.  At the third traffic light, turn LEFT onto Winfield Avenue (immediately after passing under the railroad tracks).  Go approximately 1.1 miles and turn RIGHT onto Duck Pond Road.  Go 0.3 miles and turn LEFT onto Harbor Road.  Follow Harbor Road 0.7 miles to the end which is a one-lane bridge onto an island.

Cars: Go over the bridge, bear to the left and continue to the stop sign, turn RIGHT on Sea Spray Road and then take the first LEFT onto Crossway.  This will take you to the Club.

S.U.Vs: Please do not go over the one lane bridge either entering or leaving the island.   Instead, turn RIGHT just before the bridge onto Canal Road.  Go .25 miles to the end and turn LEFT onto Cockenoe  Take your first LEFT onto Spriteview Ave. and then the first RIGHT onto Crossway.  This will take you to the Club.

Directions from I-95 South: Take Exit 17.  Turn RIGHT off the exit ramp onto Saugatuck Avenue.  Go approximately 1.1 miles and turn LEFT onto Duck Pond Road.  Then follow directions above.

Directions from Merritt Parkway: Take exit 41 in Westport onto Route 33 South.  Continue straight through the first traffic light (approximately 1.75 miles), where the road will change to Riverside Ave.  Continue for another 2.6 miles and turn LEFT onto Duck Pond Road and follow directions above.
